Freddie is an EMMY® Award nominated editor living in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Decision Science, then promptly left the applied statistics behind to start his post production journey.

He’s worked in the feature film, documentary, television, and commercial genres, including as the lead editor of the 4 part EMMY® nominated HBO series, “SHAQ”, Netflix’s UNTOLD: Johnny Football, and the 2021 Amazon Studios feature documentary A MAN NAMED SCOTT - THE KID CUDI STORY. His most recent work includes the premiere episode “FIVE MINUTES” for the Peacock original series SNL 50: Beyond Saturday Night, as well as 3 more installments of Netflix’s UNTOLD.

In 2016, Freddie started Neat Edit, an EMMY® Award winning boutique post production company with his wife and Executive Producer, Courtney DeLaVega, working with clients ranging from KIA, TrueCar, Chase, and State Farm, to production companies Anonymous Content, SPRINGHILL ENTERTAINMENT, and Film45.

In his spare time he enjoys doing yard work, making blanket forts with his 2 kids, and amateur interior decorating. He would also like to one day retire on a farm, preferably one with a bourbon distillery.
